๐ Minecraft Set World Spawn Not Working
Description. When the update came out today I decided to try it out. Once getting into the nether I set my world spawn in the nether. Once I died, however, I respawned at the nether coords in the overworld. I thought it was just the world spawn command, so I filled up a respawn anchor (4 glowstone); but when I died I again respawned in the
1. There are several reasons why mobs may not spawn in a farm. Mob spawning is set to false in the settings. You are the wrong distance from the point you want the mobs to spawn. The light level is too high (though judging from your screenshot this is not the case). The mobs are spawning elsewhere.
Go into your server.properties and set the spawn protection to 0. Now download world edit or you cannot use the wand with //wand for world guard. Now that your vanilla spawn protection is set to 0, use the wand with the //wand command and select one corner of your spawn by left clicking. This will be pos1. Go to the opposite end of the area in
Need help /setworldspawn is not working. Iโm making a hub in my friends Minecraft server and I want anyone who joins to spawn in the middle of it, so I used /setworldspawn and I always spawn around 5-10 blocks away from it (I also tried using /spawn point but that also had the same problem). Is there any way to fix this? This thread is archived.
These mods and plugins usually have these two similar commands to use with setting your spawn point and using the commands: /setworldspawn ----- This command when sent will set the players world spawn point to that current location of the player who issued the command. This is the location for when players first join or when they die without

Make sure there are spawnable blocks next to it (i.e. no stairs or bottom slabs), because otherwise it counts as obstructed and you will respawn at world spawn. Yes, that's the point. Compass always points to the world spawn, where players spawn in. Doesn't change if you sleep in a bed.
The player spawn point is randomized, and the player spawns on a block that is typical to the spawn biome. Grass for most, sand for desert, mycelium for mushroom island etc. So probably if your spawn is a common biome, cover or remove all grass/dirt around the 'ground' area and make the desired spawn floor grass. -togs.
Press the Enter key to run the command. Once the cheat has been entered, the world border will be adjusted to the new size. In this example, the message " Set world border to 5000000.0 blocks wide (from 60000000.0 blocks) " will be displayed to indicate that the size of the world border has been changed. Congratulations, you just learned how to
To set the spawn, you need cmi.command.setspawn permission. (true/false) โ Defines players spawn point after death, if set to true, for /cmi spawn command. This command also includes the previous example. (-g: [groupName]) โ Defines players spawn point after death, if set to true, for /cmi spawn command for a specific group.
Description. While playing a new survival world i made in snapshot 19w12b (the latest snapshot) i was killed and when i respawned i got the message "your home bed was missing or obstructed" my bed is not on slabs and has more than 2 blocks of air above it, the bed was a double bed so i tried removing one, waiting till night, and sleeping in it
Setup: 1. Drag and Drop the plugin in the plugins folder + reload the server. 2. Set the boundaries for the spawn using /spawnprotect setnw and /spawnprotect setse. 3. Edit the messages in the customConfig.yml if you want and reload. After this the plugin will be setup and ready for usage! TODO: (if requested)
CrazedLobster: For me WorldGuard region flag mob-spawning deny worked, I selected a village and all the villagers disappeared on server restart So it works But I have to say, it does not deny the entities to enter that region, so if you meet a zombie (for ex.) in that region it doesn't means the mob-spawning is not denied, just a zombie walked into the region from outside.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to set the center of a block as the World's spawn point. The reason for that is the signature of the method setSpawnPoint. World.setSpawnPoint (int x, int y, int z) Due to being integers, the only possible point would not be the center, as the center of a block is the half of it's coordintes, so if a block is at
In my adventure map, I have set the world spawn point, but any player that i invite, still spawns somewhere else. The players have both been in the world working on it with me at various times so perhaps when they spawn in it remembers where they last were instead of sending them to the spawn point? Just grasping for answers here.
